Individual Taxpayer

An Individual Taxpayer is a person who is required to file a tax return with the government based on their income and other financial activities. This includes citizens, resident aliens, and certain non-resident aliens who earn income in the United States.

Individual taxpayers are subject to various tax regulations, rates, and deductions that can affect their taxable income. For example, they may be eligible for standard deductions, itemized deductions, and tax credits, which can reduce their overall tax liability.
